It does not see Devialet even if I switch betwin air and upnd. I do not have an option to chose it in the settings in the output Dropbox. The only 2 options I get built in output and HDMI. I find Air often does not connect with these players first time and you often have to disable/enable to 'lock on' If you still hear nothing then disable air (while Amarra is playing track) and then immediately re-enable Air (WiFi or Ethernet) - don't quit Air. They are at least the same when the tracks are from the same release (the same mastering), and so many 44.1K tracks on Qobuz are newer mastered versions that almost always sound better than what I have here in my drive. Audirvana sports a neat-looking CD Interface, iTunes integration (or standalone playlists), a powerful 64-bit playback engine and great sound quality. Make sure the Amarra settings are as shown below. SteveInNYC: Local tracks sound better than those streamed from Qobuz. anyone has an advice? maybe my mac mini is the problem? While there are sonic differences between Amarra and its competitors, the nature, scope, and perceptibility of those differences will vary drastically depending on the other components, both hardware and software, in your system. Even roon gave me (the transport is in use) error. Functionally I do not need it, but what I tried of the players with mac don't work well. I wanted to sell the lumin, but now I'm scratching my head in thoughts. The song management is just so bad compared to Lumin app that I'm used to. either my mac mini (late 2014 1,4 4gig) makes it slow and not worcable. On my setup, MQA-encoded tracks actually sound worse than lossless 16-44.1kHz tracks. Both Amarra 4 and Audirvana have a functional iTunes integration mode. how did you connect your amarra? Audirvana does see devialet and sounds good, but man it is horrible as a control app. Summary: Local tracks sound better than those streamed from Qobuz, which sound better than those streamed from Tidal. I tried earlier versions of Amarra and found the interface to be clunky and the program itself to be buggy and crash-prone. The easy integration with your iTunes library is great. Once processed, comments will be posted on. Instructions for filing comments will appear in the published notice. The agreement will be subject to public comment for 30 days after publication in the Federal Register after which the Commission will decide whether to make the proposed consent order final. The FTC will publish a description of the consent agreement package in the Federal Register soon. The Commission voted 4-0 to issue the proposed administrative complaint and to accept the consent agreement with the company. In October, the Commission warned more than 700 businesses that they could incur significant civil penalties if they use reviews or other endorsements in ways that were found to be unlawful in prior FTC administrative cases. The Commission is committed to ensuring that consumers and honest businesses are not cheated by dishonest review practices. In addition, it must post on its website all customer reviews of products currently being sold-with the exception of reviews that contain obscene, sexually explicit, racist, or unlawful content and reviews that are unrelated to the product or customer services like shipping or returns. Fashion Nova will also be prohibited from making misrepresentations about any customer reviews or other endorsements. Under the proposed settlement of the latest allegations, Fashion Nova will pay $4.2 million for harm consumers incurred. In April 2020, the FTC announced that Fashion Nova agreed to pay $9.3 million to settle allegations that the company failed to properly notify consumers and give them the chance to cancel their orders when it failed to ship merchandise in a timely manner, and that it illegally used gift cards to compensate consumers for unshipped merchandise instead of providing refunds. This is the second case the FTC has brought against Fashion Nova in recent years. In addition, the FTC has released new guidance for online retailers and review platforms to educate them on the agency’s key principles for collecting and publishing customer reviews in ways that do not mislead consumers. The FTC also announced that it is sending letters to 10 companies offering review management services, placing them on notice that avoiding the collection or publication of negative reviews violates the FTC Act. Suppressing a product’s negative reviews deprives consumers of potentially useful information and artificially inflates the product’s average star rating. But from late-2015 until November 2019, Fashion Nova never approved or posted the hundreds of thousands of lower-starred, more negative reviews. “Fashion Nova is being held accountable for these practices, and other firms should take note.”Īccording to the FTC's complaint, Fashion Nova used a third-party online product review management interface to automatically post four- and five-star reviews to its website and hold lower-starred reviews for the company’s approval. “Deceptive review practices cheat consumers, undercut honest businesses, and pollute online commerce,” said Samuel Levine, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection. The case is the FTC’s first involving a company’s efforts to conceal negative customer reviews. The FTC alleged in a complaint that the California-based retailer, which primarily sells its “fast fashion” products online, misrepresented that the product reviews on its website reflected the views of all purchasers who submitted reviews, when in fact it suppressed reviews with ratings lower than four stars out of five. Online fashion retailer Fashion Nova, LLC will be prohibited from suppressing customer reviews of its products and required to pay $4.2 million to settle Federal Trade Commission allegations that the company blocked negative reviews of its products from being posted to its website.
As a consequence, we need to prepare the layout using Drupal theming functions and templates. Form Builder is up-and-coming project building a WYSIWYG form editor, but still in alpha stages and with no form processing. Webform is pretty popular standalone module, but lacks any tools for designing form layout. Luckily there are some Drupal extensions to address this issue. And the Ice King can kind of do anything. (The Grayble Teller themself almost never rolls dice, leaving the characters to react to their narration and described events, as well as determining their own success.) Adventure RPG’s GM player - currently known as the Grayble Teller, though that may change before its final release - can allow players to roll only the And/But die, guaranteeing a success - albeit with a possible complication that still allows them to “fail forward”. The system also aims to eliminate what Fantastic calls “the prisoner behind a locked door problem” in games such as D&D, where a failed roll - such as failing to pick the lock on a crucial door - can bring the story to a sudden halt. It says ‘Yes, But…’ Now I just stay in that ‘Jump across the chasm? Yes, you make it across, but then you kind of slip and you drop your bag into the chasm.’ So it stays in that narrative space the whole time.” ‘I want to jump across this chasm.’ I check a couple things to know exactly what I roll. “With Yes And, it stays narrative the whole time. Okay, so now we shift back to the narrative from that sort of really abstract resolution mechanic and I'm going to narrate if you do or don't jump across that chasm. Now, switch to some numbers, roll some dice, checks and stuff. Like, ‘I want to jump over this chasm’ or whatever,’” the designer explains. “In something like a D&D, you have a narrative component. The system aims to eliminate the “the prisoner behind a locked door problem” in games such as D&D, where a failed roll can bring the story to a sudden halt.įantastic says that the rules-light system is designed to keep players engaged with the story happening in the world without pulling them too far out into the maths and rules-checking of the gameplay. The black die judges the level of success or failure of the character, potentially modifying the “Yes” or “No” outcome of a test with an “And…” or “But…” The Yes/No die is combined with a black And/But die, which has three possible results: And, But or a blank face. There are five multi-coloured dice, increasing from the most difficult red die - with a single Yes result - to the much more forgiving purple die, which has just a single No. One is a die marked with Yes and No on different faces, with the number of Yeses and Noes depending on the difficulty of the test and the character’s proficiency in a particular skill. (A planned starter set will include the dice.)ĭuring a typical skill test - for instance, when trying to climb something or fight an enemy - the player rolls two dice. In contrast to the iconic d20 of D&D or the multiple polyhedral dice of many modern RPGs, the Yes And system relies on a simple pool of custom six-sided dice. Rather than being powered by an existing system such as Dungeons & Dragons 5E - although the game will be converted to support D&D 5E’s rules via a separate zine - the Adventure Time RPG will be the first game to run on the new Yes And ruleset. An Adventure Time RPG is on the way, opening up the beloved Cartoon Network show’s land of Ooo - home to Jake the dog and Finn the human - for players’ own whimsical quests. Richard knows his daughters are talented - he believes he’s training up the next two Michael Jordans. Oracene works double shifts as a nurse, while Richard trains Venus and Serena during the day, and works as a security guard at night. Richard, Oracene (a captivating Aunjanue Ellis), and their five daughters live in a modest, crime-riddled neighborhood. King Richard begins in Compton, California. It’s tonally conflicted, but it’s an oddly compelling piece about an unlikely Black family succeeding in a white-dominated space. But it doesn’t inhibit it from being enjoyable. That push and pull between frankness and a spin that flatters Williams keeps Green’s King Richard from being a truly great film. That leads to friction between the glossy, wholesome triumphs common to most sports biopics, and the uneasy interrogation needed for a character like Williams, a vain leader who’s guiding his daughters toward tremendous triumphs, while feeding them uncomfortable and even disturbing messages. This film, without explicitly saying so, is a version of events approved by the real-life Williams family. Zach Baylin’s script, unfortunately, doesn’t fully explicate the complicated, internal politics working within Williams. To Williams, a Black man who grew up in Louisiana, humility and docility is how Black folks survived in the white-dominated South. He shows his daughters Cinderella because the film, in his mind, teaches humbleness and dignity. Williams doesn’t take kindly to what he perceives as Venus bragging about beating a white girl. Venus has just finished wiping the floor with a rival en route to winning another junior tennis competition. In Reinaldo Marcus Green’s charming, well-acted inspirational sports film King Richard, Richard Williams (Will Smith) shows Walt Disney’s Cinderella to his tennis-prodigy daughters, Venus (Saniyya Sidney) and Serena (Demi Singleton). But even if you throw that in, you'd get the above + the 20% miss chance. Of course, the spell description also mentions concealment which is not included in the blurb. So, this implies that the barrier is not completely impenetrable. This is exactly what a character gets for a large amount of cover according the PHB's section on varying degrees of cover. Moonweb: Creates a glowing shield that gives +8 bonus to AC and +4 bonus to Reflex saves, plus improved evasion. Here's the blurb next to Moonweb in the listing of the Initiate spells. Taking another look at the book though, I've noticed something odd. Hey guys, thanks for the info and the opinions. Just looking for some opinions on how it work and whether it's too powerful, as it seems like an impenetrable barrier that you can fire your own spells through is a little strong. So, which is it? Does the cover and concealment represent that archers have to lob arrows over the top? Can a human swordsman do anything to hurt you while this spell is going? I'm a little confused because it mentions that "no creature or attack can pass through" from the outside, but then immediately says that creatures inside have "cover and concealment against attacks that originate from the outside". Does this spell allow you to create a barrier around yourself that you can fire spell and attacks through, but that other creatures can't penetrate from the outside? (at least at ground level, I realize there's a hole in the top) Okay, it's the idea of a circular wall around myself that has me intrigued. Creatures inside the moonweb have cover and concealment against attacks that originate from the outside. From the outside, it is opaque and virtually impassable - no creature or attack can pass through from this direction. From the inside, it is transparent and passable any creature can move through it. The barrier has an inside and an outside. You can form the barrier either as a circular shield 5 feet in diameter and 10 feet high around a willing creature, or as a flat 10-foot square plane placed either horizontally or vertically, as long as it is anchored along at least on edge. You create an immobile barrier of force that glows as though with moonlight. Mercedes HPP managing director Hywel Thomas told reporters there was no problem with people leaving. The American automotive giant announced its return to the sport on Friday. Renault, with a team at Enstone, build their engines in France, while Audi's power unit plant is in Germany, Ferrari's is in Italy and Honda's assembly is in Japan. NEW YORK - Ford has confirmed it will return to Formula One in 2026 as it joins forces with world champions Red Bull. The Red Bull operation is the first time since Cosworth were competing in the early years of the century that Mercedes have had a rival engine manufacturer so close at hand. The problem which lead to the disqualification stemmed from Red Bull lacking faith in the reliability of the FIA fuel flow meter and deciding to not use it in. Some of them were retired in our organisation and ended up there in a leading position, but that's fine. "The people they've hired, we wish them the best. We have a constant influx of Red Bull people, as we have from the other teams. "You know, we are not bragging about any people that have joined us from Red Bull. "HPP has 1,000 employees and lost some to Red Bull in the same way we lost some to Ferrari, and we lost some to Renault, and indeed the other way around," said Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff at the British Grand Prix. Red Bull have since been on top and have set up their own power unit operation for a new engine era from 2026 with several senior employees hired from Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains (HPP).Īudi, who are taking over the Sauber team, are building an engine while Honda, Ferrari and Renault are also on the lookout for staff. Mercedes won eight successive constructors' titles from 2014 to 2021 when they had what was considered the sport's best engine. Thanks for getting things in gear, McLaren.SILVERSTONE, England, July 8 (Reuters) - Once-dominant Mercedes have played down the impact of staff leaving their Formula One engine division to join Red Bull's new powertrains company and other rival manufacturers. The team / constructor section provides the all time F1 points for the selected point scoring system. Things just got real, and we’re not yet even at the summer break. But another strong competitor in the mix for podiums, and another fast car, puts the pressure on the entire weekend, and increases the risk of a catastrophic decision and decreases the margin for error. Red Bull, with its 200-point lead, likely does not need to be all that concerned about McLaren stacking up enough points to threaten its title directly. The results since those changes? McLaren got fourth last weekend, and two and four this weekend. McLaren made a whopping five declared changes, more than any other team, including a new sidepod shape, halo, floor, and a new shape for its cooling louvre. We’re just over a week removed from the declared changes that McLaren made to its car. The purpose-built state-of-the-art facility is. Red Bull and other top F1 teams need to be concerned about McLaren This includes the creation of the Red Bull Racing Erena at our Formula One Technology Campus in Milton Keynes. Look at the recent news of upgrades teams made and it’s clear McLaren is something to be concerned about. Then they were a rocketship in the Grand Prix. In exchange, McLaren got 30 points on Sunday, more than its total coming into the weekend (29).Ī fluke weekend for McLaren, some lucky outcome? Not really. Oracle Red Bull Racing tied a Formula One record that has stood for 35 years with an 11th straight victory, with Max Verstappen winning six races in succession. Lando Norris secured the second spot, and just behind the top three was Oscar Piastri at fourth. McLaren, with two drivers representing the Great Britain flag, had itself one heck of a weekend with its first podium of the season. Silverstone, the home race for several teams and drivers, came and went. All of a sudden, they have more pressure coming down the grid at them in the form of a team who has finally figured things out. Red Bull sits atop the constructor’s table in Formula One after this weekend, a massive 200-plus points above the next highest team, Mercedes. Red Bull is still dominating, but the team they need to keep an eye on is suddenly not the teams that have been directly behind them. Why? Because Rand Paul is a dick, a wanker, a scrotum face, a wiener, a dork, a froto, a donger, a knob, a tool, a mushroom head, a Mr. If Billionaire Bezos really wanted his rocket to look like a penis, it would have looked like Rand Paul. The only thing more vulgar would be running photos of Rand Paul on the front page. Editors probably won’t even read this cartoon and kill it just from the image of the phallic-shaped rocket…while running photos of the phallic-shaped rocket on their front page. I saw a few good ones that weren’t too dirty, but probably still won’t be published anywhere other than social media. My colleagues spent yesterday struggling to find a way to put a dick joke in a cartoon that could get past editors. Most men don’t overcompensate shoot themselves into space inside a rocket literally shaped like a dick. Most men needing to overcompensate buy sports cars, or really large trucks, or a shit-load of guns to strap to themselves so everyone can see their entire gun collection while shopping for dental at Walmart for their one tooth. Two things I was very impressed by was the landing of the rocket right back to its launch pad and that the media could spend hours covering it without once mentioning it’s shaped like a giant scrotum. Personally, if a flying penis is about to take to the skies, I want to know about it ahead of time. And then yesterday after Bezo’s rocket went off, social media lit up with, “Oh my god, that looks like a dick.” Maybe nobody was paying attention to what was about to happen until it happened. The only reactions it received were, “Huh?”. I posted a YouTube clip of the running gag in the Austin Powers movies about how Dr. Sometimes I feel like I’m a day ahead of everyone else…or at least schmoes on social media. And if any aliens were on their way to our planet while that rocket was…entering…space, they probably turned around. If one phallic-looking human being can put a phallic-looking rocket into space for three minutes, imagine what non-phallic-looking humans can do. Yesterday, Jeff Bezos inspired the world.
